my cat

I think you deserve to know the true extent of my love for my cat. I was homeschooled in 7th grade(more like no-schooled) and I was super lonely, so my mom surprised me by taking home one of the kittens from our farm. This was a huge event, even though the cat was small. From that day forward my cat and I have been best friends. She currently sitting at my feet, batting around a hair tie. Its great, her and I have a deep connection. We know when to give each other space and when to give each other attention. Cats aren’t as smart as dogs, but at least they know when I don’t want to be cuddled.

She has seen me through all my worst preteen/early teen years, and somehow, she remains my best friend. But sometimes I still look around the house and say “holy smokes! there’s an animal in here!!!”

yes. yes there is an animal. its my catze

I write here when I delete all my social media and pretend I don’t exist. I’m a teenager who used to live on a beautiful farm by a creek tucked into the sweet aroma of Concord grapes. Now I live in a 15 story apartment complex above a dog park in Philadelphia.
