I found a peace

There is something very peaceful about listening to jazz radio. I don’t particularly like jazz, but I love listening to the quiet-raspy voices of men talking about their music career. Nothing is better than listening to an old man get excited about his past. especially at 12:00. I just listened to a 30 min spiel on how this man met John Coltrane and it changed his life. Wow. I laid on my floor and cried. It was the sweetest thing. Music is on a whole nother level of influence.

I write here when I delete all my social media and pretend I don’t exist. I’m a teenager who used to live on a beautiful farm by a creek tucked into the sweet aroma of Concord grapes. Now I live in a 15 story apartment complex above a dog park in Philadelphia.
